What are they?

Moana Heart Mermaid now offers educational appearances. Using whimsy and magic, Moana Heart Mermaid aims to inspire connection to and guardianship of our Moana/Ocean through the younger generations. It is a fun and engaging educational experience with the intention of bridging the gap between the land & sea. Moana Heart Mermaid believes the more tamariki/children who know about the impact humans have on the Moana/Ocean and most importantly, what they can do to help, the greater the chance for change and protection of our Moana/Ocean for the generations to come.

What is included?

An engaging informative experience that lasts around 45 - 60 minutes and is aimed at ages up to 7 years (or where the magic of Mermaids still exists). The appearance is conducted in full Mermaid attire and explores:

The identification of what belongs in the Moana/Ocean & what doesn’t (Plastics, rubbish & Shells).
The implications if plastics do end up in the Moana/Ocean.
How important keystone species can be affected.
What the tamariki/children can do to help protect the Moana/Ocean.
