If you are looking to book a Moana Heart Mermaid appearance for a birthday party, there are a few things to consider.

Do you want to have a pool or land-based party?

Time of year & weather will determine the most appropriate option, as the cooler temperatures arrive a warmer land-based option will be more suited to most. However, if you have a warm heated pool that may still be an option during the winter, weather depending.

Do you want your land-based party inside or outside?

The weather can be the determining factor here also, so it always pays to have a sheltered back up option if you are leaning towards an outdoor set up.

Land-based parties

If you don't have a pool or are looking to book during the cooler months, a land-based party is a great option for a Moana Heart Mermaid appearance.

During the appearance there can be photo opportunities, Q&A, storytime, games & or activities. Moana Heart Mermaid also brings along some of her beautiful shells from Mermaid Island to show the kids. How each runs, depends on the kids' interest which informs how the appearance flows on the day.

Activities can include things like design your own Mermaid tail, where they each get a blank picture of a Mermaid tail & they can colour it in. Applying temporary Mermaid tattoos (or Mermaid stickers if that is preferred). Bubble wand wishes, where each child gets to blow a round of bubbles and make a wish. Pass the parcel is an option if it is age appropriate. The birthday girl will also receive a special birthday present from Moana Heart Mermaid.

A giant inflatable clam shell (shown on the left) is available for land-based parties & works great for photos and interacting with the kids at ground level.

Land-based parties are 45 minutes with an early arrival of 15 minutes required to get set up & into costume.

Pool parties

If you have a pool and mini mermaids who love getting in the water, this could be a great party option.

A pool party can include games, photo ops, Q&A, story time, and general swim time with the kids (so long as they can swim). Moana Heart Mermaid also brings along her special shells from Mermaid Island to show the kids. How the time flows on the day depends on the kids and where their interest is. Some love asking heaps of questions & others are all about the water activities. The birthday girl will also receive a special birthday present from Moana Heart Mermaid.

Pool appearances run for an hour, and an early arrival time of 15 minutes is required for Moana Heart Mermaid to get into costume.
