Genuine cowrie shells wrapped in tarnish resistant gold wire, creating a unique pair for ocean lovers. Featuring one of my favourite wave designs and carrying 14kt gold filled earring hooks.

~ Each piece of Mermaid treasure has been lovingly crafted in the Bay of Plenty, NZ using hand selected shells, sea glass & repurposed beads, from the shores of Aotearoa, French Polynesia, & the Cook Islands. Whilst the wires are tarnish resistant, to maintain their like-new condition, it is recommended to keep them away from water, perfumes & moisturisers where possible. *Gold Filled is made by bonding gold to a base metal to give it the appearance of solid gold. It is typically more durable than a gold-plated piece and will not tarnish or chip. They are also safe for those with metal allergies.
